Electromagnetic small 7-segment displays are of a very high quality, however they still require a “refreshment” from time to time. In case of small seve segment modules used widely for gas pumps displays, it is possible to replace a head assemble. This is a top part of a display, the one visible to an observer. This is much more economical then to replace complete displays.
